The former «The Big Moscow Hotel»

In Oleksandrivsk in this building there was a tavern and one of the largest city hotels. It was called the former «The Big Moscow Hotel».

Whether in honor of Moscow, or from the streets of Moscow, which was held side by side, whether at all, thanks to the Moskovka River nearby. This building has its own legend. Peculiar. Like, in one of the visits to Oleksandrivsk the White Guards, the local furnished rooms were shot by the officers of the White Guard. All but one – but the Bolsheviks-underground workers justified their headquarters in it. Say, they were cunning, they decided that they would not look for gold raiders under their noses.
