The beautiful manor house of Sukhanov-Sumovsky family is located in the park – behind the fence with wrought-iron gates and figured lattices. It was built in 1895 by the Sumy businessman and patron Mykola Sukhanov.
A two-story residential building with rich architectural decorations was connected by an underground passage with an office building with a neo-renaissance mansard. Now in different rooms of the Sukhanov estate there is the Institute of Applied Physics, offices of the Academy of Banking and one of the subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the premises of the library of the Academy of Banking, the exposition "Sukhanov family in Sumy" is locted which tells about the life and charity of the Sukhanov family.

Садиба Суханових-Сумовських, нині приміщення Інституту прикладної фізики НАН України (інша назва Садиба Суханова) — пам'ятка архітектури Сумщини, колишня садиба сумського підприємця-мецената Миколи Суханова. Потім будинок перейшов у власність до родини Сумовських. Наразі, з 1991 року тут розташовані Інститут прикладної фізики НАН, служба Банківської Академії та один із підрозділів місцевого УМВС. Колишня садиба Суханова милує око кожного перехожого своєю архітектурною довершеністю, пластичністю ліній та неабияким смаком архітектора.
