A halted nuclear power plant on the territory of Ukraine, known in connection with the accident that occurred on April 26, 1986.
Currently, the station is being liquidated and a new sarcophagus over the emergency 4th unitt is under construction. Shelter-2 is an insulating arch structure above the Chernobyl nuclear power plant destroyed as a result of the accident. This construction covered an obsolete "Shelter". The arch became the largest mobile ground structure.
