The wooden church of St. John the Evangelist in the village of Sukha Kalyhirka was built in the late XIX century on the place of the old church, founded in 1734.
The temple was built of oak timber by typical synodal project, common in the Kyiv eparchy. Restoration of the church was completed in 1995.
